This is exactly how people learn to not know that their ancestors and their government are killing other people right now. Because they don’t learn from the past. The past makes them uncomfortable, so don’t teach them. There is no bitter past in the textbook, only the glorious ones. Heroic ones.

This is the problem of privatizing education and put research at the mercy of market, i.e., big corporates. In the perspective of big corporates that sell guns and drone strikes, and Viagra, gun ownership = freedom, Hamas = terrorist group, women = baby producing machines. Of course abortion is sin, when education is just a fancy package of cultural capitals (MBA, WHATEVER score, etc.) that can be bought with blood money. Like your LV bag that has diamonds.
