How season 5 episode 9 aimed to top episode 8, the best so far

In case you haven’t watched it….spoilers super alert.

episode 8’s hilarious and clever review can be found here.

I’ve waited and waited to see the dragons’ protection Soooo LONG that I already forgot when it was last time when dragons appeared (maybe when Daenerys bought the unsullied ? ). Nice job! All the 30 seconds dragon-phobia of the Mother of Dragons in the previous episodes got paid off. Also, It is the gaze of our Mr. No.1 Cynical Tyrion that makes the resurgence of the Mother of Dragons all the more profound. That’s a genius combination of the dwarf and the dragon! Not the same kind of breathtaking scene in the episode 8 with god damn White Walkers vs. pitiful Jon snow, but still, it’s a pretty engaging piece to reignite passion for the Queen. And no, things in Dorne do not make sense yet (“a pointless detour” that awaits a huge vengeance). What would be the next sluggish breakthrough in the finale?

So The answer to how to beat episode 8 (when you think it’s just a task for Jon Snow to persuade the wildings, White Walkers attack!!!!) is the formula:

girl sacrifice + a dragon to top white walker battle

a dead child (princess) and a child (dragon) reclaimed
